Unlock the power of callbacks to create hilarious and unforgettable improv moments!

Callbacks and connections are powerful tools that can elevate your play, create cohesion, and leave audiences roaring with laughter. This six-week class will deepen your understanding of callbacks and how to integrate them effectively into your play. Through warm-ups, exercises, and scene work, you’ll practice different ways of thinking about second beats and how to heighten and bring back themes, ideas, characters, and games.

Everybody get in here! Let’s make some group scene magic together!

Put away those two chairs. After years of two-person scenes, don’t you think it’s time that group scenes got the same attention? Not every group scene should feel the same. How do you create magic in your three-person scenes? What about four or more players?

In this six-week class, you’ll learn how to identify and manipulate three different tools for scene patterns: the idea, the reaction to the idea, and the reveal. With these new skills at the helm, you’ll be able to improvise seamlessly no matter how many players join you on stage.
