Lisa Brousseau

Lisa Brousseau loves doing improv, which gives her an outlet for her natural storytelling and mimic skills. From 2003 to 2017, she was an ensemble member at the Brody Theater, where she hosted the all-women improv jam show “Ladies DE.” Lisa performed at the 2016 Stumptown Improv Festival as part of the Brody Theater ensemble, in 2017 with Girls! Girls! Girls!, in 2018 as part of the Stumptown Local Ensemble, and in 2019 with Broad Selection. She performs around town with indie improv group Broad Selection and improvises the role of mother to two wild boys.

Beau Brousseau

Beau Brousseau has been on the improv stage since 1993. From 1996 to 2004 he worked throughout the Los Angeles area with sketch and improvisational groups, and used his skills in improvisation at public and private events being hired as immersive characters. In 2005, Beau joined the Brody Theater ensemble in Portland, where he hosted the weekly improv jam show “Diabolical Experiments” up until the theater’s closing in 2018. He was featured several years in a row at Portland’s Stumptown Improv Festival and has mainstaged at the Seattle Festival of Improvised Theater.

About Bridge City Improv

Bridge City Improv is run by veteran Portland improvisers Beau and Lisa Brousseau. Launched in November 2018, BCI has produced shows at Portland Center Stage, The Siren Theater, Echo Theater and PerformanceWorks NW in Portland, and Milwaukie’s Chapel Theatre. Their shows present stellar casts of the metro area’s best and brightest improv comedians.
